The launch of AirKosova to serve the embattled Yugoslav territory has been delayed by the collapse of Ireland's TransAer, which would have provided it with an Airbus A320 and 30 staff. TransAer went into liquidation on 20 October after merger talks with the UK's HeavyLift Cargo Airlines collapsed. It had leased aircraft to Libyan Arab Airlines and Algeria's Khalifa Airways.
