Few names are as prestigious as Ferrari to link with your business and, although the two are independent of each other (Piero Ferrari is vice-president of Ferrari and president of Piaggio and a shareholder in both firms), Piaggio makes the most of its associations with the performance-car brand. A Ferrari-branded P180, flown by the Ferrari Formula 1 racing team, appears on the Piaggio stand at air shows, and Piaggio has sponsored drivers Michael Schumacher and Felipe Massa.
