New York-based JetBlue Airways will place codeshare partner Emirates Airline's code on its new Cleveland-Boston flights.

JetBlue will begin twice daily service on the route with Embraer 190s from 30 April, with both airlines planning for the codeshare arrangement to take effect then.

JetBlue competes against United Airlines on the route, schedules in Innovata show. Emirates serves Boston daily from Dubai.

Cleveland will be a new addition to JetBlue's network when service begins. The airline will also launch service from Cleveland to Fort Lauderdale on 30 April.
