Online members only business aircraft marketplace JetSmarter is planning to launch on 8 December the first scheduled private jet shuttle between Dubai and London.

The service, called JetShuttle, is the latest in a growing network of around 70 scheduled services that JetSmarter provides for its 6,000 members throughout North America, Europe and the Middle East.

JetShuttle’s 13-seat Embraer Legacy 650 – operated by Empire Aviation and Vertis Aviation – will depart Dubai Al Maktoum International (DWC) for London Luton on Thursdays at 20:30 local time, returning the following day at 12:00 local time.

JetSmarter says using the two smaller airports will allow a faster boarding and landing process than if the service operated between the major hubs of Dubai International and London Heathrow – and will mean passengers can be picked up directly from the tarmac

“We have a large membership base in Dubai,” says JetSmarter founder and chief executive Sergey Petrossov. “Due to the high demand, we are expanding our intercontinental JetShuttle service which will now connect three major continents – North America, Europe and Asia.”
