A Korean Air (KAL) Boeing 777-300 involved in a tail-scrape yesterday at Tokyo's Narita airport is grounded in Narita.

A KAL spokesman in Seoul says at around 1230 yesterday, the 777-300 had a tail-scrape when it touched down on the runway after a flight from Seoul's Incheon airport.

There were 367 passengers and 17 crew on board, says the spokesman, who added that no one was hurt in the incident.

The pilots are still in Japanand the incident is subject to investigation by the Japanese authorities, says the spokesman.

KAL's spokesman was unable to disclose the aircraft's registration number.
