Kenya Airways will be adding two Embraer 190s on lease from aircraft leasing company Jetscape.

The leasing company says the "two new E-190AR aircraft are scheduled to be delivered from Embraer and leased to Kenya Airways in December 2010 and May 2011".

These will be its first E-190s, it says. Kenya Airways already operates five Embraer E-170s, two of which it received from Finnair. Jetscape was involved in helping Finnair re-market these aircraft, says Jetscape.

Kenya Airways CEO, Tuitus Naikuni, says: "The E-190s will offer the high comfort that has come to be expected on the E-170."

"In addition, the E-190s will be fitted with state-of-art in-flight entertainment technology."
