Garuda Indonesia and Korean Air are agreed to expand their codeshare partnership on flights between Jakarta and Seoul.

SkyTeam alliance member Korean began placing its code on Garuda's thrice-weekly Seoul Incheon-Jakarta services from today. This adds to the existing codeshare on Korean's daily flights on the same route, increasing the codeshare frequency to 10 weekly flights.

"With the added schedule, Korean Air passengers will be able to enjoy a wider range of options when planning travel to the Southeast Asian country," says the South Korean airline.

Korean Air uses Boeing 777-200 aircraft on its daily flights, while Garuda operates the Airbus 330-200.
