LATAM Airlines Brazil and Cathay Pacific plan to codeshare on flights via the USA, after signing an agreement.
Cathay will display LATAM Brazil’s code on its flights between Hong Kong and New York, while the Brazilian carrier will place Cathay’s code on its flights from New York to both Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo Guarulhos.
The two Oneworld carriers plan to begin codesharing in September, they say in a filing with the US Department of Transportation.
