EVA Air has extended its co-operation with Lufthansa Technik to cover component maintenance on Boeing 777 Freighters.

LHT says it has signed an exclusive contract with the Taiwanese carrier to supply, repair and overhaul line-replaceable units. Equipment will be supplied from warehouses in Hong Kong and Singapore, the German MRO provider adds.

EVA Air took delivery its first 777F in November 2017 and is set to receive four more through September 2019 as it replaces its 747-400F fleet.

LHT notes that it has co-operated with EVA Air for "many years" and already provides component support for the carrier's 777-300ERs and Airbus A321 and A330 fleets.
