Libyan Arab Air Cargo has acquired a second Antonov An-124-100 freighter. An early production aircraft is undergoing overhaul and modification for the airline, before delivery later this year. The airline has been operating an ex-Antonov Airlines An-124 since January on freight charters to destinations in Africa, Asia, Europe and the Middle East. Meanwhile, the last An-124 built at the Aviant plant in Kiev is being completed, but is not committed to a customer.
