Lion Air and Wings Air launched 10 new domestic services from 1 July.
Three are operated by Lion Air, and seven by Wings Air, says parent company Lion Air Group.
FlightGlobal schedules data shows that Lion Air will compete with Expressair on the Bandung-Pontianak and Palembang-Yogyakarta route. It will also compete with Garuda Indonesia and Sriwijaya Air on the Batam-Bandar Lampung route.
Wings Air will be the only operators on the Bandung-Jakarta Halim, Bandung-Malang, Jambi-Medan and Makassar-Malang routes. It will compete with Garuda Indonesia on the Balikpapan-Palangkaraya route.
