Riyadh-based Maz Aviation has apparently created a VIP version of the venerable Lockheed Hercules.

Adorning the exterior and interior of the company's pavilion here at Dubai International airport are pictures of the four-engined turboprop with a five-display glass cockpit up front and several seating zones in the back, including an area with blue leather recliners and a shower-equipped lavatory.

Maz did not respond to a query as to the details of the refurbishment or the customer. Maz made headlines in 2008 when it became the largest future fleet operator of the Airbus A350 Prestige, with an order for six of the widebodies.
