MEBAA: Camber Aviation created to manage large VIP projects

Aircraft management specialists Kestrel Aviation Management and Stratus Aviation Services have joined forces to offer enhanced large corporate aircraft management services.

Camber Aviation Management will supply an integrated spectrum of services from green aircraft selection to delivery of the completed corporate jet, says Kestrel’s Stephen Vella, who is joint managing director of Camber. “We can provide our clients with a complete turnkey service from the initial negotiations with the aircraft manufacturer through the purchase agreement, interface with interior designers, development and integration of innovative cabin concepts, and finally the preparation of an outfitting specification and negotiation of a cabin outfitting agreement.”

Kestrel and Stratus worked together on the first Boeing 787 BBJ with a VVIP cabin, which debuted at EBACE 2016.

“Camber’s principals and staff have been managing the acquisition and cabin outfitting of large corporate and head of state aircraft since 1998,” says joint managing director Tom Chatfield, of Camber. “Our knowledge and experience is unparalleled in the large corporate aircraft sector.”

Camber has signed co-operation agreements with suppliers, design organisations and completion centres to develop new technologies for its near-term corporate aircraft programmes, says Chatfield. “We will unveil Camber’s newest innovative cabin design at EBACE 2017.”
