Mexicana has reached a long-term maintenance agreement with Rolls-Royce covering the engines on the 25 Boeing 717 aircraft being leased by the carrier's low-cost division.

The aircraft, to be operated by the Click subsidiary, are fitted with Rolls-Royce BR715 powerplants as standard.

Rolls-Royce values the TotalCare support agreement at over $350 million.

Mexicana also operates Rolls-Royce Trent 700-powered Airbus A330s while Click's current fleet of Fokker 100s have the manufacturer's Tay engines.
