Turkish Technic is exhibiting at MRO Americas for the first time as part of a campaign to attract more work from US carriers.

Executive vice-president Fuat Oktay (pictured above) says the Europe, Middle East and North Africa region is Turkish Technic's primary focus as the company aims to grow its third-party business over the next five years from an annual revenue base of $125 million to $750 million. But he says there are also opportunities, especially in component and engine overhauls, in the Americas.

"You'll start too see Turkish Technic more and more in the US market," Oktay says.

Istanbul-based Turkish Technic is a subsidiary of flag carrier Turkish Airlines.
