Delta TechOps and CanJet have firmed a five-year agreement covering maintenance of CFM56-7B engines powering the carrier's Boeing 737-800s.

The fixed price, time and materials contract expands Delta TechOps' existing component and inventory logistics support pact with the Canadian charter operator.

CanJet's VP of maintenance Jim Penwell says Delta TechOps was picked for the CFM maintenance "due to the level of service TechOps technicians have delivered since first partnering with CanJet in 2009".
