Microturbo's new e-APU60 auxiliary power unit is in flight testing with AgustaWestland. The unit delivers up to 60kW of electrical power and is slated for installation on the company's AW189 helicopter for the oil and gas sector as well as the AW149 for the military. EASA certification is scheduled for the end of 2012 and FAA certification for early 2013.
