Embraer is preparing to fly the first Phenom 100 to be assembled at its new US factory in Melbourne, Florida, as it works to complete its US business jet customer center by the end of the year.

"With the production hangar and paint facility fully operational, the upcoming opening of the new customer center will complete our plans on schedule," said Robert Knebel, Embraer Executive Jets vice president sales for the USA, Canada and the Caribbean.

At the new center, customers will be able to oversee the design of interiors for their Legacy and Lineage executive jets.
