The world's third largest business aviation show, MEBA, will take place at the Dubai Airport Expo next December.

Organiser F&E Aerospace is already taking bookings for the biennial event, which last year attracted 6,200 visitors from 77 countries, including more than 500 VIPS from the region's ruling royal families, plus other key buyers and buying influencers.

There were 53 business aircraft on display and a total of 338 exhibitors from 33 countries took part.

Michele Van Akelijen, Aerospace Director for F&E Aerospace, said: "Dubai bills itself as being the centre of the world, the aviation hub of the Middle East. This positioning, coupled with the success of our 2010 event, makes it a perfect location for both exhibitors and visitors."

F&E, which is joined on the booth by MEBAA, the Middle East Business Aviation Association, is also promoting the Dubai Airshow, which takes place next month and will have a large business aviation participation including Dassault, Embraer, Bombardier, Hawker Beechcraft, Cessna and Gulfstream.
