NetJets is showcasing its first Signature Series Bombardier Challenger 650 at NBAA as the fractional ownership giant and programme launch customer prepares to take delivery of the large-cabin business jet in the coming weeks. The handover will also mark the 1000th Challenger 600-series delivery since the first aircraft entered service in 1980.

The 10-seat aircraft clinched US certification this month and Candian certification in October – a year after its launch at NBAA 2014 .

NetJets has an order for up to 75 of the $32.4 million, 4,000nm (7,408 km) range aircraft. It is refreshed version of the Challenger 605 with more powerful, General Electric CF34-3B engines.
