Signature Flight Support and NetJets have broken ground on a 930m² (10,000ft²) passenger terminal dedicated to NetJets customers at Palm Beach International airport in Florida.
The $13 million facility is scheduled to open in the second half of 2013 under a partnership between the fixed base operator chain and the world's largest fractional ownership provider.
The terminal will house passenger and crew lounges, crew rest area, conference and business centre and six acres of paved ramp space.
NetJets has similar facilities across the USA including Westchester County airport in White Plains, New York; Columbus, Ohio; and Van Nuys, California. NetJets is planning a dedicated facility at Atlanta DeKalb Peachtree airport.
