Regional aircraft lessor Nordic Aviation Capital is exploring the possibility of a sale, with Deutsche Bank mandated as adviser, sources familiar with the situation tell FlightGlobal.

NAC and Deutsche Bank both declined to comment.

In 2015, Swedish-based private equity firm EQT, with Danish company Kirkbi acting as co-investor, acquired a majority stake in NAC, valuing the lessor at $3.3 billion.

NAC acquired Aldus and Jetscape in 2016, and says it is the regional sector's largest lessor, with over 400 aircraft in its owned and managed portfolio, valued at some $5.3 billion. The Danish lessor was founded in 1990 by chairman Martin Moller.
