In-flight connectivity provider OnAir has teamed up with Reed Exhibitions to develop and launch a mobile portal supporting the Aircraft Interiors Expo in Hamburg from 18-20 May.

Accessing the portal directly on their smart phones at www.aixnow.com, Aircraft Interiors Expo attendees will have the opportunity to keep up-to-date and informed on news and show information.

Flightglobal senior editor Mary Kirby's "Runway Girl" feed on Twitter will be part of the portal. Kirby tweets about aircraft interiors, in-flight entertainment and connectivity (IFEC) and news related to the passenger experience.

This is the first time a mobile portal has been used for the Aircraft Interiors Expo.

"Staying up-to-date on information via the portal will ensure delegates make best use of their time during the exhibition. It gives them extra flexibility and more of an opportunity to plan - the same benefits as airline or cruise-ship passengers get when they use the OnAir service as they travel," says OnAir CEO Benoit Debains in a statement.

OnAir recently developed a portal to support the 10th annual EBACE event held at Geneva's Palexpo.
