TAP Air Portugal has selected in-flight entertainment and connectivity systems from Panasonic Avionics for a fleet of Airbus A321LRs.

Panasonic says that the contract covers line-fit installation of its X-series IFE equipment on 14 A321LRs to provide passengers with an "immersive home-theatre entertainment experience".

Passengers will also benefit from in-flight wi-fi, with bandwidth 20 times greater than on previous systems, says Panasonic.
