Faroe Islands flag carrier Atlantic Airways has struck a deal with Airbus for two A320neos.

Airbus says the airline has signed a purchase agreement for two A320neos, with engine selection to follow.

The aircraft will allow Atlantic Airways to further develop its European network, adds the airframer.

Cirium's Fleets Analyzer shows that Atlantic has three A320ceo-family aircraft, comprising two A319s and a single A320, all powered by CFM International CFM56 engines. The airline has been an Airbus customer since 2008.
