AerCap has ordered 30 Boeing 787-9s at the Paris air show.

Boeing says the order has a list-price value of $8.1 billion and makes the lessor the largest customer for the 787. The airframer notes that AerCap has taken delivery of 55 Dreamliners and, after this order, will have a backlog of a further 67 of the aircraft, including sale-and-leasebacks.

Flight Fleets Analyzer indicates that the 787s already in AerCap's portfolio are a mix of -8s and -9s.
