PPG Aerospace is showing off a new treatment for Gulfstream G650 passenger cabin windows, which the company says are the largest in the aviation industry to date.

The 'Opticor' advanced transparency material is placed on the outboard surface of the window to resist crazing over time and use, and to maintain optical clarity longer than traditional stretched acrylic transparencies. The Opticor outer coat is laminated to stretched acrylic underneath and sandwiched with an inboard glass panel that can be heated for anti-fogging.
