Japanese low-cost carrier Peach Aviation has signed an agreement to purchase 10 Airbus A320neos, as well as three of the current variant A320 jets.

In a statement, the Osaka-based carrier says its first A320neo is scheduled to be delivered in the first quarter of the 2019 financial year, with all 10 jets to be delivered over a period of about two years.

It will configure the aircraft with 188 seats, but has yet to decide on the engine option.

The three CFM International CFM56-5B-powered A320s will meanwhile be delivered within the 2018 financial year. They will be configured with 180 seats.

Flight Fleets Analyzer shows that Peach has 18 A320s in service, aged between one and five years. It also has a further two of the narrowbodies on order.
