Pakistan International Airlines has detailed the occupancy of the ATR 42 turboprop that crashed today while operating flight PK661 from Chitral to Islamabad.

There were 47 people on board, says the airline. These comprised 42 passengers and five crew members.

The carrier adds that the accident occurred in Havelian "at around 16:40 local time". The domestic flight had departed at 13:30.
