The Russian civil all-weather coaxial helicopter, the Kamov Ka-32A11BC, has received certification for operations in India.
The Indian directorate general of civil aviation granted operations on the basis of the certificate issued by the European Aviation Safety Agency.
The helicopter, which is scheduled for delivery to India in 2011, has so far been certified in the USA, Europe and Asia.
Ka-32A11BC helicopters of various modifications are operated in countries including Spain, Portugal, Switzerland, Canada, South Korea, Taiwan, Japan, and China.
