Rumours of cost cuts abound, as cosmonauts try levitating their way into orbit

Thanks to Neville Kidger of the UK for his suggestion and for correctly guessing the identifty of the cosmonauts (see below)

 

This picture above, taken in March 1984, shows the preparations for the joint Soviet-Indian space flight aboard the Soyuz T-10 spacecraft. Indian cosmonauts visited the Baikonur cosmodrome in Kazahkstan for training. The training was not a one-way process, with Indian teams teaching their Soviet counterparts relaxation techniques including meditation.
