Maintenance firm SR Technics is making a strategic investment in Irish-based MRO software specialist Armac Systems.
SR Technics has not disclosed the level of investment in the company, with which it already co-operates, but says it will create a "close strategic partnership" between the two.
Armac Systems specialises in developing software to optimise inventory planning.
SR Technics says the combination of the two companies' core competencies will enable the maintenance firm to offer "enhanced" asset management capabilities to its customers, and "maximise component availability".
