Business aircraft flights in the UK could be subjected to tax for the first time under plans expected to be unveiled by UK finance minister George Osborne. The move is an attempt by the coalition government to close corporate tax loopholes with a view to clawing an extra £1 billion ($1.64 billion).
It is not clear if the tax will be levied in the form of passenger duty or a separate tax targeted at private aircraft.
