Thai AirAsia plans to launch two China services on 1 February 2018.
The low-cost carrier says it will begin daily Bangkok Don Mueang-Chengdu and Phuket-Kunming services with Airbus A320s.
FlightGlobal schedules data shows that the airline will compete with Thai Lion Air on the Bangkok Don Mueang-Chengdu route. It will also compete with China Eastern Airlines, Kunming Airlines, and Lucky Air on the Phuket-Kunming route.
