Tianjin Airlines will induct Airbus A350s into its fleet in 2018, with plans to launch services to popular long-haul destinations such as Los Angeles and Madrid.

The airline will also further build on traffic at Xian and Zhengzhou, making them international transit hubs from where it will launch more international and intercontinental routes/

Last year, the carrier raised its number of international services by 7.2%, while passenger numbers climbed 10% to exceed 13 million. It also added 21 new aircraft into its fleet, comprising Airbus A320s, A330s and Embraer 195s.

Tianjin Airlines operates a fleet of 93 aircraft consisting of A330s, A320s, E190s, E195s and ERJ-145s.

Last May, lessor Avolon's parent Bohai Capital disclosed that Tianjin Airlines will lease two A350-900s on 12-year terms.
