Turkish Airlines has disclosed a memorandum of understanding with Airbus that covers 25 A350-900s.

The deal, which includes five options, was signed at the Elysee Palace in Paris during an official visit by Turkish president Recep Tayyip Erdogan to meet French counterpart Emmanuel Macron.

Turkish Airlines' chairman Ilker Ayci and Airbus chief executive Tom Enders were the signatories.

In September 2017, the Star Alliance carrier tentatively committed to 40 Boeing 787-9s under a memorandum of understanding with the US airframer.
