Embraer has clinched US certification for its Phenom 300 light business jet less than two weeks after the Brazilian civil aviation authority ANAC granted type and production certification for the $8.14 million, seven-seat aircraft.
Embraer is now gearing up to deliver the first Pratt & Whitney Canada PW535E-powered aircraft "in the coming weeks". Embraer says its orderbook for the Phenom 300 and Phenom 100 very light jet stablemate totals about 800 aircraft.
