Boeing’s freighter conversion programme for the 737NG was in the news at this week’s Paris air show, with lessor GECAS announcing the placement of additional aircraft and the manufacturer securing orders for more conversions.

The latest 737-800 Boeing Converted Freighter (BCF) managed by GECAS and destined for Amazon’s Prime Air operation was on static display at the show. Alvey Pratt, who is director for converted freighters and complex modifications at Boeing Global Services, gave FlightGlobal a programme status report on the 737-800BCF.
