Zodiac Seats France has become an Airbus contracted supplier and will offer two new business class seating options for the Airbus A350.

The Cirrus seat has a pitch of 42 inches and converts to a full-flat bed. It is laid out in a herringbone configuration with four seats abreast, giving passengers direct aisle access.

The other model, the Arcus seat, is meant for higher-density business class configurations, with seven seats abreast in a forward-facing configuration. This model also extends to a full-flat bed.

The seats will be added to the A350 catalogue when it undergoes a revision later this year.

Zodiac Seats France will be joining Airbus contracted suppliers EADS Sogerma and Jamco America in offering premium seating options for the A350. Sogerma was the first to provide a business seat model in the A350 catalogue with the Solstys model. It added the Equinox premium seat to the catalogue at the Aircraft Interiors Expo in Hamburg last March, which is laid out in a six-abreast arrangement.

Jamco also added its Journey premium seat to the A350 catalogue last March, which is set in a forward-facing configuration with the option of six or seven seats abreast. This model also transitions into a full-flat bed.

Zodiac Seats France is the new name for Zodiac Aerospace's Sicma Aero Seat division.
