The NORDAM Group is to move its European headquarters from the Netherlands to Toulouse, France.

NORDAM, headquartered in Tulsa, designs and manufactures integrated propulsion systems, nacelles and thrust reversers for business jets.

The company also designs, manufactures and repairs airframe flight controls, structures, interior shells, radomes, and aircraft windows.

Ken Lackey, chief executive and president, says: "Moving our European headquarters to Toulouse was a very strategic decision.

"We will be closer to our European aerospace original equipment manufacturer (OEM) customers, allowing us to better align our strategies.

And being located in the aerospace centre of Europe will allow us to better focus on an expanded presence in the region and on our commercial airline customers as well."

Alain Poupin, vice-president, Europe, Middle East and Africa, will run the office, which will focus on sales, marketing, and strategic services and initiatives.
