The North West Aerospace Alliance, a British regional grouping, has signed a partnership agreement with the Society of Indian Aerospace Technologies and Industries.
NWAA chairman Dennis Mendoros says: "We have had a policy of forging links with similar organisations around the world ever since our formation in 1992. We have relationships with groups in Australia, Canada and elsewhere. We are proud to add India to the list."
Signing for SIATI was the organisation's president, Dr C G Krishnadas Nair. "Now that we have a formal partnership, we intend to explore trading and investment opportunities for the benefit of our respective member companies," he says.

On Friday, Dr Nair will lead his 10-man team to Manchester in northern England to take part in an NWAA seminar to be held under the aegis of the Commonwealth Games Business Club.
The SIATI president will talk about opportunities for international co-operation with the Indian aerospace industry.
