Sales of the Flight Dynamics Head-Up Guidance System (HGS) have passed 1,000 following an order from Southwest Airlines. Since receiving the first orders for the system in 1987 from Alaska Airlines for its Boeing 727-200 HGS, Flight Dynamics has sold the system to 14 airlines, 30 corporate users, four military transport agencies, three flight training companies and NASA. The company claims to have 70% of the firm orders in the commercial head up display market, with another 500 options.
