Avation has placed all of its remaining new aircraft deliveries for this year after signing a conditional deal to lease three ATR 72-600s to Mandarin Airlines.

The aircraft will be delivered in October, November, and December following modifications to suit Mandarin's specifications, Avation says in a stock exchange statement.

The lessor took delivery of the first of those aircraft on 30 June.

Avation's executive chairman Jeff Chatfield says the equity portion of the three aircraft deliveries will be partially funded through proceeds from the sale of six ATR 72s to Chorus Aviation Capital that closed on 30 June.

He adds that the company is now "aggressively marketing its 2018 ATR orderbook", with six aircraft due for delivery in 2018 and 2019.

Avation is also advertising 2011- and 2012-built ATR 72-500s, as well as 2016- and 2017-built -600s on its website as available for lease.

Chatfield also reiterated that the lessor is "considering the acquisition of additional jet aircraft to further diversify its portfolio."

Flight Fleets Analyzer shows that Avation's portfolio comprises 18 ATR 72s, three Airbus A320s, eight A321s and five Fokker 100s.
