China's Minsheng Financial Leasing has signed a memorandum of understanding to purchase 30 Boeing 737s, a mix of 737NGs and 737 Max jets.
"Thanks to the continued emergence of low-cost carriers and regional airlines, the single-aisle market is projected to be the fastest-growing and most dynamic segment," says Minsheng's aviation vice-president Wang Fuhou, who notes that the 737's current and re-engined variants "meet requirements from airline customers like Ruili Airlines".
Chinese carrier Ruili earlier today committed to purchase 30 Max jets with the financial support of AVIC International Leasing.
Minsheng has been leasing commercial aircraft since 2013 and has more than 30 on lease to 10 airlines, says Boeing.
