The French government has bowed to pressure from the European Commission and will partially open Paris/Orly to intra-European traffic from 2 January 1995, three months earlier than expected. The move follows complaints to the Commission from Lufthansa, KLM, SAS and Lauda Air. But the matter is not yet closed with restrictions on access still in place.
