Raytheon has made its first international sale of the APG-63(V)1 fire control radar to Korea for its Boeing F-15K aircraft.
The company's Air Combat and Strike Systems division will provide 40 radars for the new fighter aircraft Raytheon will also deliver 34 APG-63(V)1 radar systems under a $116 million retrofit contract with the US Air Force. The fire control radar has improved system reliability, higher throughput and greater memory than earlier versions.
