French charter operator Oyonnair has taken delivery of four pre-owned Piaggio P180 Avanti IIs to take its fleet of the Italian twin-pusher to nine. All of the aircraft were formerly operated by K-Air and the deal was arranged by brokerage and consultancy OrionFly.

Oyonnair claims to have 60% of the French market for turboprop medical flights and since 2015 has been basing its fleet on the Avanti. "The decision to further expand our fleet of Avantis is the confirmation of our great confidence in the performance, economics and reliability of this wonderful Italian masterpiece," says Daniel Vovk, president and chief executive.
