A consortium led by Amsterdam/Schiphol airport has bought Brisbane airport for US$1.1 billion, while Australia Pacific Airports Corporation, which includes the UK's BAA, has bought Melbourne Airport for US$1 billion. Perth Airport has gone to a consortium led by Lockheed Martin and Soros Capital for US$502 million.
