This Philippine Airlines Airbus A320 (RP-C3224) with 148 passengers and six crew on board overshot a runway on landing in the southern Philippine city of Butuan on 19 October, resulting in minor injuries and reportedly slight damage to the aircraft. The aircraft was operating a domestic flight from Philippine capital Manila to Butuan. According to Flight's ACAS database the CFM International CFM56-powered A320 was built in 1997 and is owned by Premier Aircraft Leasing. Weather conditions were reportedly good at the time of the overrun.
