P&W to buy Nordam unit
PRATT & WHITNEY is to buy the Nordam Group's Propulsion Systems division, which repairs cases, frames and components for gas-turbine engines and auxiliary power units. The terms of the deal, which is expected to be complete by the end of the first quarter, have not been disclosed.
